We are burnished practicing presence. And you. You are sitting near a babbling stream. You listen to gentle laps as its clear water softens stone, adding lines to their Odysseys which will be told to others many years from now. You think of those that will hear it, but not of tomorrow. The ground beneath you is cool. Your hand grazes clumps of mud, pebble, and gravel. The air carries notes of wet moss and sonder in gentle gusts that temper the sun. You are here.
